Great customer service, friendly staff. A bit of a wait before meeting with Chris in Finance but understandable because of two customers in front of us. They did what they could to help speed us through given the circumstances, and Darryl was very kind in letting our kids stay in his office during part of the wait so it was very much appreciated. My truck needed an oil change and to have the infotainment system “recalibrated” according to the error message that occurred as a result of my battery dying. I changed the battery before bringing the truck in. The recalibration seemed to stump the team for a couple of days before suggesting a diagnostic process they needed to charge for. At one point they suggested I take the truck back without the recalibration fixed. We got there, but it wasn’t confidence inspiring.

I brought my 2025 GMC Canyon in due to a major whistling noise when driving at freeway speeds and the first service, in the end it turned out to be the windshield which was ordered. I made the appointment to get it replaced and asked for a loaner, which none were available on the day i arrived, not even rentals so i ended up waiting 5 hours at the dealership for the vehicle. I also was informed the visor tint on the defective windshield that I had installed would not be reimbursable. I love the truck however.

I had great support from Chico Dixon to locate the vehicle at another GMC dealership. He worked with dealership leadership to work out a trade for the truck that I was looking for. It took a few days and they were able to work out the details. Chico kept me up to date each day as to the progress until it was fully completed. From the sales person who was clearly only interested in selling the car, to the negotiator that wouldn't even speak to me directly- I would never be a repeat customer. The icing on the cake was that they couldn't even through in free floor mats despite buying a $104k car in cash. Take your business elsewhere.

Always experience great service when taking my truck here. I feel we've built a good relationship purchasing here and continue to service my truck here. Did experience an inconvenience issue with regards to a recall and no error codes. I scheduled an appointment online to address it, but when I drove in there was no recall attached to my truck. I drive from SF to Concord to get it serviced so when its for nothing, it impacts my schedule.

Lehmer's service department has been my go-to for many years. The service writers are so pleasant they make doing business a great experience. I found the same with the sales team. No pressure, a great price and they even made a 400 mile trip for a dealer trade to get the exact Sierra I wanted. Lehmer's is in its 98th year of family ownership and it shows. LOL! I feel like this has turned into a bit of a lesson in patience. I’ve been doing business with Lehmers off and on for the past 15 years or so, and while there have been some great people along the way, I sometimes walk away feeling disappointed. Maybe I just expect too much. As a business owner myself, I tend to hold others to the standards I try to maintain in my own company, which may not always be entirely fair. Still, I believe an organization is only as strong as its weakest link. I don’t particularly enjoy being “that guy,” but when I’m asked for honest feedback, I feel obligated to provide it. If I weren’t being asked for my opinion, I would likely keep it to myself. However, since the requests continue, I want to be candid. If someone genuinely wants to discuss this, I’m happy to have a real conversation at any time. That said, if the outreach is simply going to be another instance of a supervisor expressing concern and then going silent when I return the call, that’s not productive for either of us. If someone—preferably Darin—would like to have a meaningful discussion about improvement, I’m available. At this point, it feels somewhat circular, especially given that others seem to share similar sentiments based on reviews I’ve seen. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is the length of time it took to get parts other than that the service and the people were fives. Service personnel did a great job in finding the parts that I needed like the truck strut, shocks, and the tires for my car and the pressure sensor that needed to be replaced. All of those parts took much longer to receive than it should’ve been, but again the personnel were top-notch fives in my book.

My recent experience with service has been excellent and I notice that the entire department seems to be functioning at a much higher level since Stephanie Castaneda has taken over as Service Manager. I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership to anyone in need of quality, efficient and friendly service. Two years ago I did not feel this way, however, due to my recent positive experiences, I am happy to say that has changed.

My truck had a check engine light come on. I scanned the vehicle and a 4021 code came up stating there was a problem with the cat. When I took it in they told me there was an update needed and there was nothing wrong with the cat. Why wouldn't it say something about an update? I should have cleared the code myself and saved $300.

truck was fully serviced ($1600 spent), brought truck home and hooked up trailer headed down road and all warning lights in dash went on so I pulled to the side then the emergency brake locked on and truck would not move, would start then die. I called service rep as I had just left the service center an hour before and he was not very understanding, first thing he said was we did not cause it, but all my research from my phone pointed to loose battery terminal or disconnected abs sensor and likely happened from servicing. Things happen I get that but it was the rude response and indifference that cause the bad experience, if only they service rep had said we'll take a look and sorry for the inconvenience all would be good. Instead I have to have it towed there at my expense, then no call the next morning, I had to follow up, then again no response once they determined a fuse on the battery shorted out and need to replace the fuse box, and they didn't get the order in that day so would not be ready for 2 days. Then no information and just a call on the next day afternoon that it was ready, which was great, but no explanation of the cause or reason.

Once Again My Check Engine Light came On And I Contacted My Service Advisor Emily Vanden.. She Advised Me To Bring My Truck In.. When I Got There She Wasn't In Yet.One Of Your Other Service Advisors Asked If He Could Help Me I Told Him My Engine Light Was On. The First Thing He Told Me Was Sorry we Are Overbooked Today.I Asked If I Can Leave My Truck And Get A Rental He Said No There Is A Waiting List For Rentals.They Can Give Me A Ride Home I Told Him I Live In Oakley He Said We Can Drop You Off At BART.. I Said No I Will Wait For My Service Advisor. When Emily Came In She Checked In My Truck And Set Me Up With A Rental Vehicle.. That Is Excellent Customer Service!!!! Emily Is Awesome

We were quoted $125 for an oil change but upon arrival told us it was $170 because of the issue with the 6.2L V8 engine. The engine issues are not our fault and GMC changed the oil type to protect a sub par engine. That cost should not be passed along to the consumer. Sounds like an excellent class action lawsuit case.
